Post-Brexit compliance

As a company registered in the United Kingdom, KYO Online Services Ltd complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in addition to the EU GDPR for our EU customers.

Dual framework

Our policies, security controls and DPA are designed to satisfy both the EU and UK regimes. Where the two diverge, we apply the higher standard.

International transfers

For transfers between the UK and the EEA we rely on the UK adequacy regulations. For other transfers we use the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Supervisory authority

Our lead UK supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Individuals may lodge complaints directly with the ICO.

Your rights

UK data subjects have the same rights as under the EU GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact dpo@betall.app.
